TechArt Introduces a New Tuning Program for the New Porsche 911

For model year 2012, Porsche has introduced a new generation 911. Called the 991, the 911 is faster, longer, thinner and more powerful than previous generation models 997 new 3.4-liter and 3.8 liters. Before even a lot of the dealer and go on sale, the German tuner TechArt developed a new program of the provisional update to the flagship sports car. The kit consists of the new Porsche wheels, aerodynamic improvements remanufactured engine, and further inland.

Porsche has two new variants of the 911, the Carrera and Carrera S. The base 911 Carrera is powered by a horizontally opposed 3.4-liter that produces 350 horsepower while getting 34 miles per gallon. The 911 Carrera S on the other hand, sends 400 horsepower to each of the rear wheels Porsche and achieved a respectable 32 mpg. TechArt improvement plans for each of the engines by introducing a stainless steel exhaust back pressure and to reduce new air filters. A software optimization program is also planned to improve capacity. The new additions will help reduce the acceleration and top speed figures in combination with modified aerodynamics and concave forged wheels.

To help you put the extra power to the asphalt and add a touch of style, TechArt is developing a new chassis and concave forged wheels for the new generation 991.The stock Porsche wheels are replaced with lighter and stronger concave forged wheels that create a muscular stance and reducing unsprung weight for better performance. The suspension was reduced by new springs, resulting in sharper handling and a lower center of gravity.

The exterior will also be updated to improve aerodynamic efficiency and generate more downforce. The aero kit includes front bumper revisions or painted carbon fiber composite spoilers, enlarged air intakes and LED lighting. Side skirts between the front and rear fenders will help channel the air away from the wheels. Later updates include a new custom bumper, diffuser and spoiler for improved downforce at high speeds to create stability.

The package is complete with interior refinement updates. Cut along the dashboard, center console, doors and will be available in carbon fiber, wood or various colors.Three-spoke steering wheel with shift paddles fitted with PDK transmission 911 will be available. All seats are equipped with high quality leather and custom designs in any color stitching.

New updates TechArt Porsche 911 991 generation will be available early 2012. The cost of the improvements, wheels, engine kits and interior upgrades were not disclosed.
